The Produce Place is a unique produce store offering fresh, high quality produce, in a bright, sunny atmosphere where you are greeted with a smile, and many times, the smell of fresh citrus! The Produce Place is a family owned and operated business, where the produce is hand selected by the owner, to insure that you leave the store with only fresh produce of the highest quality. During the summer and fall months, much of the produce is locally grown. Fresh-squeezed orange juice and lemonade are made on the premises. Fresh cut fruit cups and bowls are available daily, and a variety of fresh salads are made to-go. Kitchen Kettle jams, preserves, and relishes are available for purchase. They are made in Lancaster County, using all natural ingredients and no preservatives. Locally grown fresh herbs are offered year round, as well as Kennett Square mushrooms.
Look for seasonal items, such as poinsettias at Christmas, a variety of fruit baskets for the holidays or for any special occasion, fresh, Lancaster County sweet corn in July & August, pumpkins, gourds, squash and Indian corn in the fall - chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine's Day, and lots of fresh Florida & California citrus during those chilly winter months!
