Kennett Flash Presents
Cliff Hillis + Chester River Runoff
Bluegrass & Pop Show A former member of the neo-power pop outfit Starbelly, Cliff Hillis was playing in John Faye's backing band the John Faye Power Trip when he began his own solo career. .Originally from Rehoboth Beach Delaware, Cliff  now resides outside of Philadelphia and has received tri-state honors winning both the East Coast-based "Spark Magazine "Best Singer-Songwriter" and Out & About Magazine "Best Male Songwriter" awards in 2007. Hillis has been raising his profile nationally with song placements in movies -"Enough" (Jennifer Lopez) and "After Sex" (Brooke Shields)- as well as television shows "All My Children, "Party of Five" (DVD box set), "Roswell" and "Jake 2.0".

Chester River Runoff plays music that is continuously evolving from their inception in the fall of 2004 when four young musicians from divergent musical backgrounds decided to master the driving bluegrass that they all had loved. Together they have established a country bluegrass sound that echoes in the wide open spaces of the Chesapeake, carrying it to venues and radio airwaves across the region. They have grown from a small-town string band that relied more on humor than prowess, to a dynamic bluegrass band. With a confluence of styles and interests that flow together, they continue to develop a style that is all their own. High energy shows, and their ability to connect with an audience through sincere originals and unique takes on traditional music make a CRR concert a memorable experience.

Kennett Flash Presents
James Maddock + Laura Tsaggaris
Co-bill

Back in 1999, James Maddock - then the lead singer of the band Wood - looked like he was on the verge of worldwide fame. The group's debut album, Songs From Stamford Hill, was showcased on popular TV dramas such as Dawson's Creek, while Wood was touring with the likes of Paula Cole and Train. Now, at the end of the next decade, Maddock is back as a solo artist.

Laura Tsaggaris's musical palette includes varied instrumentation, arrangements and genres. Her recently released sophomore disc, "Keep Talking," underscores her creativity, from the rocker "Warning Signs" to the blues-inspired title track. The result is sort of Bonnie Raitt meets Sheryl Crow, with some Cortney Tidwell and Candice Night mixed in.
